The Global Options button brings up a list of settings common to all TinyTERM Enterprise connection configurations, and application settings not tied to configurations.

You can Export Configurations via email.
This creates a
.ttconfig container file that
includes all connection configurations, keyboard and code page customizations, and printer settings saved in TinyTERM.
The Online Documentation opens Safari to the index page for this documentation.
The QR Code Actions dialog is only available with a scanner attached. It determines actions to take on scanning a QR code.
To add passcode security to TinyTERM, turn on the Passcode Lock switch. This prevents TinyTERM from being accessed if the passcode isn't entered.
The Configuration Lock allows the user to disable the ability to add, delete or change connection configurations. The Sessions screen unlocked switch allows the user to access the configuration screen, to start or stop connections. With this turned on other functions on this screen remain locked out unless the Configuration Lock password is entered.
To use Rotation Lock, first turn the iPod to the preferred orientation for TinyTERM. Once that's correct, turn this switch on. Regardless of the iPod orientation after that, the TinyTERM display will not rotate.
Turning on Hide Title Bar removes the bar containing the Configure, keyboard and zoom buttons, as well as the connection name, from the main TinyTERM window. This increases the available screen space for the terminal.
To restore the title bar, tap the transparent down arrow in the upper right corner, just below the battery charge icon. If the arrow isn't visible due to the emulator's current colors, it will still work. This will pull down the title bar for three seconds, or until you tap one of the buttons.
When Idle Timeout is on, TinyTERM obeys the iOS device's auto lock setting. With this switch off, as long as TinyTERM is the foreground app, the device will not sleep. Instead the screen will stay on as long as TinyTERM is up.
Passcode and Configuration Locks
When you turn on the Passcode Lock or Configuration Lock switch, the Enter Passcode dialog comes up. Enter a four-digit number here. TinyTERM will request the passcode a second time to verify it, then return to the configuration screen.
Once a Passcode Lock is set, every time TinyTERM starts the Enter Passcode dialog will come up. You can also Require Passcode on switching to TinyTERM from another app. The default value is "Immediately", which means TinyTERM will ask for the passcode every time it comes to the foreground: not just when it starts, but also when returning to TinyTERM from another app, or when the device has been in sleep mode. By setting a time value, a specified number of idle minutes must pass before the passcode is required again.
Configuration Lock works the same way, but only for the configuration screen. With a Configuration Lock code set, TinyTERM will open, but the user cannot access any configuration or Global Options without entering the code. Century Software recommends combining this option with a configuration that's set to auto connect. Thus, the user can only use the specified connection, and cannot make changes to it. This also locks out the ability to remap the onscreen keyboard.
With the Sessions screen unlocked switch turned on, the user can access the Global Options without entering the password. Configurations can be started, stopped or switched to from here. However, they can't be created edited. And most of the Global Options are locked. Only Rotation Lock, Hide Title Bar and Legal are available.
To disable a lock code, turn the associated switch off in the configuration screen. You'll be asked to enter the code once to confirm the change.
